Copyright

Overview

Copyright is the law that governs intellectual and production property. Anything created is property of it's creator and must be used with permission by the creator or owner of the property. A few rules to follow are:

  1. Materials should be free to use.
  2. If they are not, permission should be granted by asking the creator.
  3. If access is granted, the terms of use should be followed
  4. And lastly just because a copyright is not present, doesn't mean it isn't copyrighted. Meaning you should still ask permission and follow terms of use.
